At Serdar Gulgun's Bosphorus villa, period details abound.  This vignette shows a series of antique cushions, including a blue-silk embroidered with silver thread.

A guest bedroom is a riot of pattern:  The leopard print coverlet plays off the intricate inlaid checkerboard on the walls, done with faux mother-of-pearl.
